Eleonora Buratto - Contessa d’Almaviva
After her recent and notable role debuts as Liù in Turandot at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples (March 2015), conducted by Juraj Valčuha and as Contessa d’Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro (May 2015)at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, in the famous Giorgio Strehler production, Eleonora Buratto starred in a series of gala concerts honor of Luciano Pavarotti in Modena and at the Ravenna Festival, Riccardo Muti conducting. Ms. Buratto recently gained great success as Micaëla in Carmen for the opening night of the season at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Zubin Mehta conducting.
Future plans include: her company debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as Norina in Don Pasquale, under the baton of Maurizio Benini; Falstaff (Alice) with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Riccardo Muti; Micaëla in Carmen in Madrid and Chicago; La Bohème (Mimì) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam and in Zurich; Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) in Aix-en-Provence; Mozart’s Requiem at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liege; Le Nozze di Figaro (Contessa d’Almaviva) in Amsterdam and in Yokohama on tour with the Wiener Staatsoper.
Fabrizio Beggi - Bartolo
Amongst Mr. Beggi recent engagements it is worth mentioning: concerts and recording of I Capuleti e I Montecchi at the with Europa Galante under Fabio Biondi; Tosca in Jesi and Fermo; Un Ballo in Maschera at the Comunale in Bologna and I Puritani at the Teatro Regio in Turin both under the baton of Michele Mariotti; Handel’s Imeneo at the Handel Festival in Halle under Fabio Biondi; Madama Butterfly at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome; Don Giovanni (Leporello) in Trieste under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti.
Future plans: I Capuleti e I Montecchi in Warsaw and Bremen; Casella’s La Donna Serpente at the Teatro Regio in Turin (under Gianandrea Noseda) and Simon Boccanegra on tour in Hong Kong (under Roberto Abbado) again with the Teatro Regio.
Giorgio Trucco - Don Curzio
After his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in a new production of Nina, ossia la pazza per amore under Riccardo Muti, Giorgio Trucco performed: La Forza del Destino in Pisa; Falstaff in Ravenna and on tour in Italy, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti directing; Aida (Radames) in Florence with the Orchestra della Toscana; Maometto II at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome; Macbeth in Toulon; Tosca at the Teatro Nazionale in Rome; La Bohème in Ravenna, Vilnius and on tour in Italy in the coming months. He will take part in the new production of Le nozze di Figaro at the Spoleto Festival under James Conlon.
